Claudio Parentela is an Italian artist who serves up contemporary art with a freakish taste. He was born in Catanzaro, Italy in 1962. An illustrator, painter, photographer, mail artist, cartoonist, collagist and freelance journalist, he has been active for many years in the international underground scene. He has collaborated with zines, contemporary art and literary magazines, and comics in Italy and around the world. A new book of his Tarot images, put together by Hermatena Edizion, is out now.
